Local Probate Judge Retires after Many Years of Service
EDINBURG – A Rio Grande Valley man who started as a certified public accountant then later became a lawyer is now retiring as a judge.
Judge Homero Garza only has three more weeks left in his position.
"At age 68, it's time to turn it over to some new young blood," says Garza.
Many people crowded his courtroom to wish him well on his retirement.
When asked what will he miss most, Garza’s answer is his staff and the people at the courthouse.
