PHARR – A man accused of starting a fire in Pharr pleaded guilty in the case.   

Joel Jonathan Hernandez was charged last year with arson after a fire at a mobile home park off Eldora Road, east of Highway 281.

No one was injured.

Fire investigators deemed the cause of the fire as suspicious immediately. Witnesses reported seeing at least three people leaving the scene before the blaze started.
