More than $600K in Meth Seized at Pharr International Bridge
HIDALGO – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized nearly 32 pounds of methamphetamine at the Pharr International Bridge.
A 2009 Kenworth tractor-trailer was sent to a secondary station on Thursday, Jan. 18. Upon further inspection, CBP officers discovered eight packages of the alleged narcotic concealed within the trailer.
The agency says the drugs are valued at more than $600,000.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested.
