NEAR EDINBURG – Residents at an RV Park north of Hidalgo County say they’re still dealing with floodwater.

They say water made its way inside structures at Sand Piper RV Park.

“As homeowners, we’ve been trying to find out what they’re going to do about this, and nobody will tell us,” says resident L.D. Wright.

KRGV’s Christian von Preysing spoke with the general manager of Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1 about the issue.

The general manager, Raul Cesin, says a bypass temporary drain was created to capture the water.
