Several Eight-Liner Businesses Fail New Willacy Co. Permit Application

SEBASTIAN – Several eight-liner businesses must shut down effective immediately as a result of the Willacy Country’s new permit application system.

Willacy County Sheriff Larry Spence said out of the 11 establishments that applied, only two met the requirements.

He says the fine for any eight-liner open without a permit is $10,000 a day.
