Stabbing Suspect Turns Himself in to McAllen Police

UPDATE (12/13): Luis Miguel Manso turned himself in to police after seeing he was wanted on the news. He was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

MCALLEN – Police in McAllen are searching for a 23-year-old suspect in a stabbing. Officers said Luis Miguel Manso stabbed someone on the 1100 block of South Ware Road and then fled the scene.

The crime happened Saturday around 3:30 p.m. The victim was treated at a hospital and released.

Manso has an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault.

Police are asking anyone with information on Manso’s whereabouts to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at (956) 687-8477. The 23-year-old weighs around 160 pounds and is 5 feet 7 inches tall. He has black hair and brown eyes.
