Starr County Sheriff's Office's Phone Line Outage
UPDATE 9 P.M.: The phone lines are back up.
STARR COUNTY--The Starr County's Sheriff's Office's phone lines are currently down.
Major Carlos Delgado with the Sheriff's Office said if you call 911, you won't get a busy signal and it will go through. However, the 911 calls will be answered by the Zapata County Sheriff's Office and will be directed to the Starr County Sheriff's Office dispatch.
The temporary number to reach the Sheriff's office is (210) 401-9804.
Delgado said it's unknown what's causing the outage or when lines will be back up.
