MERCEDES – Four years ago, Ashley Cosme was enjoying her day, out riding her bike when she was struck by a speeding car.

She suffered a traumatic brain injury. She had to learn how to read again, how to write again, how to speak again. Eventually, she was able to do all of that, except walk again.
