US Department of Education Representatives to Visit RGV
WESLACO – Representatives from the Department of Education and TEA will be in Edinburg on Tuesday.
They’ll be taking public comment on reports the TEA placed caps on student enrollment in special education.
The Houston Chronicle originally reported schools were denied special education services after the state imposed enrollment benchmarks.
The meeting will start on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Region One on 1900 West Schunior in Edinburg.
