The UTRGV men's soccer team will have its first home game of the season tomorrow evening after opening up the regular season on the road.

The Vaqueros host Oral Roberts as part of a doubleheader tomorrow at the UTRGV soccer and track & field complex.

When UTRGV faced off against Oral Roberts last year, the Golden Eagles won 6-0. UTRGV is currently on a 2-game losing skid as the team is still building chemistry on the pitch leading up to the start of conference play.

"There's 16 guys out of 26 that are freshmen or sophomores," Vaqueros head coach Bryheem Hancock said of his roster. "That's a lot of guys on the team that are trying to get experience and are learning this game at this level... But I can say I'm very happy with how this group has done with that."

The game is currently scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. after the conclusion of the matchup for the women's team. The women's soccer game starts at 4:00 p.m. as part of a doubleheader.
