HIDALGO - The drama of making the G-League basketball playoffs was lifted from the Rio Grande Valley Vipers before Wednesday night's home game with Salt Lake City.  A defeat by another G-League playoff contender opened the gates for the Vipers to a third consecutive post-season appearance.  The game with Salt Lake City became frosting on the cake when the locals won for the second time in three nights.  CHANNEL 5's Joel Villanueva has the details.
