Woman Cited in Rear-End Collision with Donna School Bus
DONNA - One woman is facing several fines after a bus crash in Donna.
DPS Lt. Johnny Hernandez said the Donna ISD bus was hit Monday afternoon south of Roosevelt Road along Val Verde Road. A pickup truck rear ended the bus at a stop sign, according to authorities.
Twenty-two of the 40 middle school students on board were taken to the hospital to get checked out.
No major injuries were reported.
The driver of the truck was cited for not having a driver’s license, no insurance and failure to control speed.
