Mission, TX (KRGV) — Yaqui Animal Rescue will hold its third annual Tails of Hope Gala to support thousands of stray and abandoned animals.

The 2026 gala, Recuérdame, is a Día de los Muertos-inspired evening that honors animals the rescue fought for and lost while celebrating the lives it still fights for each day. The event will reflect on lives saved, milestones achieved, and the work still ahead.

The gala runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, 2026, at Mission Event Center. Guests will have cocktails, a seated dinner, rescue stories, live entertainment, music and dancing.

The evening also includes a silent auction, raffles, awards and the largest pet ofrenda in the Rio Grande Valley.
