1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash Involving Motorcycle in Missio

MISSION – Police responded to the scene of a fatal collision in Mission Monday afternoon.
Lt. Jody Tittle of the Mission Police Department tells us the crash happened on the 800 block of Shary Road near Business 83 around 2:30 p.m.
The rider of the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Shary Road when a truck pulled out of a private drive to turn north when the rider struck the truck.
The rider was taken McAllen Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. We're told that the rider was wearing a helmet.
Police are waiting to notify next of kin before releasing the victim's identity.
The driver of the truck is being questioned.
