Brownsville Residents Want Answers after City Demand Portion of Property

BROWNSVILLE – A community could lose their backyards to the city of Brownsville.

The Brownsville interim city manager says the land is needed for city improvements.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS learned an easement gives the city the right to use the land.

KRGV’s Trason Bragg spoke to the residents who received a letter from the city which demanded that their fence be moved.
