City of Mercedes to Unveil $65K Christmas Tree

MERCEDES - The city of Mercedes will unveil their brand new $65,000 Christmas tree Tuesday.

Crews completed the assembly Monday.

It cost the city an additional $7,000 to set it up.

Altogether city leaders spent more than $100,000 for new Christmas decorations this year.
