DPS, McAllen Police Involved in Car Accident

MCALLEN - A DPS unit and a McAllen police unit were involved in a car accident Tuesday afternoon.

It happened on 10th Street and Trenton in McAllen.

The McAllen police unit received front end damage, while the DPS appeared to have been struck on the driver's side.

DPS Lt. Johnny Hernandez said the trooper is okay.

McAllen Lt. Joel Morales said both parties received non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
