Harlingen Agg Assault
HARLINGEN--The Harlingen Police Department arrested two people they believe were involved in an aggravated assault in December 2016.
According to a press release, two people were injured in an altercation in the 900 block of East Adams Street in Harlingen. A victim and witnesses told investigators that the suspects displayed a gun during the assault. Police believe Jose Guzman and Amy Torres were two of three people who committed the assaults. It's unclear if the Harlingen Police Department are still searching for a male suspect who may have also been involved.
Guzman and Torres were jailed on Friday after their arrest on felony charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and engaging in criminal activity.
