Teacher of the Year nominee speaks out

A Sharyland Independent School District teacher is in the running for Texas Teacher of the Year.

B.L. Gray Junior High School Teacher Michele Galvan said she wants her students to know that if they don’t fit in, they stand out.

“I want them to feel loved,” Galvan said.
