UPDATE (8/15): A 13-year-old girl was found and recovered after she went missing from Donna a week ago, according to the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office. 

Priscilla Elisabel Martinez's uncle, 41-year-old Rudolf Nuncio Jr., is in custody of Montgomery County authorities after leading them on a three-county pursuit Tuesday morning. 

The family of the girl has been notified.

DONNA – An Amber alert was issued for 13-year-old Priscilla Elisabel Martinez of Donna. 

She was last seen going to bed at her father's house in rural Donna late Wednesday night.

Martinez's sister-in-law Hillary Tijerina and older sister, Daisy Martinez, said Martinez has never run away before.

"She's scared of the dark, she won't sleep by herself," Martinez said. "We think somebody had to have picked her up. It was too dark outside."

The family said they found messages in the teen's phone from her uncle, 41-year-old Rudolfo Nuncio Jr., encouraging her to run away. They don't know if the two are together but so far it's the only lead they have.

They're pleading on social media for tips on where Martinez could be, or where her uncle could be.

"If you guys think you see her, take a picture, send it to us, call us or stop her or something," Martinez said.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office put out a missing persons alert, but couldn't offer any more details about their investigation.

Martinez is described as 5 foot, 11 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown hair and dark brown eyes. She wears glasses and has a scar on her left elbow. She was last seen wearing a white and black shirt with jeans.

Authorities are also searching for a silver 2015 Dodge Ram, license plates HFW2831, in connection to her disappearance. The truck is believed to have mudflaps with a horse with wings. 

The family just wants Martinez home safe.

"There are a lot of mean people out there," Martinez said. "And we don't know if she's okay or if she's being hurt. We just want her to come home."
