EDINBURG – Hidalgo County flood victims have by the end of this week to apply for assistance.

The county’s Community Service Agency set $300,000 aside to distribute to low-income families affected by the June flooding.

Homeowners or renters have to apply in person at 2524 North Closner Blvd.

In order to apply, please provide the following:

• Official identification

• Social Security number of everyone living in the home

• Proof of income for the last 30 days

• Pictures of the damage

• Proof of home ownership

• Utility bill with address included
