Authorities Continue Manhunt for Donna Shooting Suspect

DONNA – Donna police are doing what’s necessary on this side of the border to track down a suspect involved in a shooting. He’s believed to be in Mexico.

Early Friday morning, Donna police and San Juan SWAT Team conducted a search warrant at a home, located on 5th Street and Business 83, officials believe has evidence to help them in the case.

Donna Police Captain Rick Suarez explains they continue to follow several leads in a homicide that happened at a Stripes Convenience Store over the weekend.

Suarez says the suspected shooter, 38-year-old Fidencio Castillo is armed and dangerous.

Police say Castillo allegedly shot and killed Efren Quiroz as he was leaving the store.
