BBB Advises Exercising Caution when Choosing Contractors

WESLACO – The Better Business Bureau is advising those who hire contractors for house repairs after a natural disaster to be cautious.  

Texas law does not require contractors to be licensed or provide minimal bonds to ensure recovery work.

Nearly 200 homeowners filed complaints against contractors following Hurricane Harvey.

KRGV’s Carolina Cruz spoke with the president of the Better Business Bureau to find out how prevent these situations.
