DPS Report Finds Thousands of Gang Members Operating in U.S.
WESLACO – As many as 100,000 gang members are operating across Texas, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The ‘Texas Gang Threat Assessment’ is a newly released report by DPS which shows an update on gang activity in Texas.
According to Governor Greg Abbott, it found Texas must continue to aggressively combat gangs.
The report focused on factors such as threat levels and use of social media to communicate with and recruit new members.
