WESLACO - Weslaco shut down the high-powered Vela offensive attack for one half.  But the Panthers didn't score enough themselves to hold off a second half Vela comeback in the Game of the Week.  17 unanswered points locked down a 17-7 victory that kept the SaberCats unbeaten along with Rio Hondo in Valley high school football.  The loss was Weslaco's first of the season.  Valley View also lost for the first time in 2018.  Pioneer collects the upset victory 35-28.
