WESLACO – A spokesperson for the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance says organ donors are needed in the Rio Grande Valley.

The senior communication director of TOSA Edwina Garza says only 21 people who died last year donated their organs; most of them being from Hidalgo and Cameron County.

The group hopes to attract more future donors in Willacy and Starr County.
