SAN JUAN – Many across the Rio Grande Valley are attending church services on Good Friday.

One of the busiest places is the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan Del Valle.

The congregations honored the day by visiting and praying at different stages surrounding the basilica in a reenactment of Christ’s crucifixion.

Many of faith observe this holiday by fasting and attending church services.
