REFUGIO – Residents in Refugio are still trying to rebuild from Hurricane Harvey.

KRGV’s Cecilia Gutierrez made a visit to the area to see the progress.  

Resident Joann Moya tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS she was living in a trailer parked in her driveway up until just a few weeks ago.

"I thought, ‘This is it. I mean, I’m going to be in an RV for the rest of my life,’” says Moya.  

She says she learned a lesson from Harvey: a little faith goes a long way.
