WESLACO – Many of those who have fled their country to come the U.S. may go through Mexico but may not actually be Mexican citizens.  

Some have come from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS learned that those in the country illegally can only be sent back if they are Mexican citizens.

Two former presidents, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, also focused on immigration issues, including minors crossing the border.
