Judge Denies Mistrial Request in Border Patrol Agent’s Murder Case
BROWNSVILLE – The trial of a man accused in the 2014 murder of a Border Patrol agent is now in its second week.
Defense attorneys for Gustavo Tijerina-Sandoval asked for a mistrial, citing misconduct by a Texas Ranger that took the stand on Thursday.
Tijerina-Sandoval faces the death penalty.
