WESLACO – A local resident wants help from the government to prepare her taxes because of all the changes that have taken place.

Maria Luisa Castillo Del Castillo says trying to figure out new tax laws is difficult.

She says it would be beneficial for local government to provide tax preparation for the residents.

KRGV’s Frank McCaffrey reached out to the Weslaco Public Library’s director, Arnoldo Becho Jr.

He explains the library called upon a powerful group from the non-profit sector to help.
