Long-term effects in children diagnosed with coronavirus too soon to confirm

The coronavirus has proven to impact most age groups. Doctors say children respond differently. Most bounce back fine, but they are studying a reaction in some with the infection.

Dr. Jaime Fergie, director of infectious diseases at Driscoll Children’s Hospital says for the most part children have been lucky.

However, those who have been hospitalized could face long-term respiratory problems. When it comes to the recovery process, medical experts worldwide are starting to notice a certain illness developing.
