HARLINGEN - Harlingen police said a 41-year-old man is behind bars for aggravated assault.

Officers said a woman told them Joe Flores gave her serious cuts to the left side of her face and neck, and punched a second woman in the face.

The first victim was taken to the hospital and treated for serious injuries.

Flores is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault.

He’s being held on a $110,000 bond.
