The Brownsville Independent School District Police Department is hard at work preparing for three days of back-to-back high school football games.

The department hired more officers to help secure the Sams Memorial Stadium.

After two years of the pandemic, the district says more fans are coming to support teams – and they can expect more officers to patrol specific areas to make sure everyone at the games are safe.
