MCALLEN – A McAllen ISD parent is seeking answers after summer school instructors somehow lost track of her daughter.

Martha Luna says she made arrangements with the district this week to place her daughter on a different summer school bus route.

When she went to the pick-up location, her daughter was nowhere to be found.

The school district says the student was taken to the right location according to the paperwork on file, meaning the switch in locations was never processed.

KRGV’s Carolina Cruz spoke with district officials who say it was all a misunderstanding between the two parties.
