Suspect in Deadly Edinburg Shooting Charged
EDINBURG – A suspect in a deadly Edinburg shooting has been charged.
Twenty-five-year-old Bernardo Garcia Jr. was charged with capital murder.
Police responded to a call on the 1000 block of Tori Lane Saturday morning.
Upon arrival, officers found a man in front of a residence with gunshot wounds. The victim later died at a local hospital.
Edinburg Assistant Police Chief Oscar Trevino said a second suspect will be charged at a later date.
