USCIS Working to Go Paperless by 2020
WESLACO – The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is moving to completely digitize their agency.
The agency’s San Antonio district director says some of the forms, such as citizenship applications, can be filed online.
However, USCIS says the switch from paper to online doesn’t mean it will speed up the processing time but will offer a more accessible platform for filing.
People can also opt-in for email and text messages reminders.
