Victim Recovers as Police Continue Investigation into Brownsville Shooting
BROWNSVILLE – Brownsville police are waiting for a shooting victim to recover to find out more about the incident.
A spokesman for the Brownsville Police Department, JJ Trevino, says the victim remains hospitalized in critical condition.
According to him, they were shot at a home on the 1100 block of West St. Francis.
A weapon believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered Monday.
Police allege four men, facing charges for tampering with evidence with intent to impair a police investigation, removed the gun from the scene and threw it in a Brownsville resaca.
