WILLIS, Texas (AP) - Police say officers fatally shot a man wanted on felony warrants in a home in southeastern Texas.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says in a news release that 45-year-old Christopher Allan Noe was shot by officers from three police agencies in Willis, about 40 miles north of Houston.

The sheriff's office says authorities had tried to stop a speeding pickup truck, but the driver escaped. The news release says police tracked the truck's license plate number to the home where they found Noe.

The sheriff's office says Noe refused to surrender and when a stun gun failed to stop him, he was shot by a sheriff's deputy, a local police officer and a constable's deputy. The officers' names were not immediately released.

The release says Noe was wanted in a neighboring county.
