WESLACO – A grand jury indicted a Rio Grande Valley woman who suffered a seizure, crashed and killed another woman.

Maria Luevano was indicted for recklessly operating a motor vehicle.

The grand jury said she was aware of her history with seizures and should not have been driving.

The accident happened last year and claimed the life of Sylvia Espericueta Flores.

The grand jury also indicted Luevano for fraud. They said she lied when she renewed her driver’s license and answered “no” when asked if she suffered from seizures.
