Cleanup Crews Put in Extra Hours on SPI Beaches

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND – Although the number of spring breakers wind downs, crews continue to work extra hours into cleanups at South Padre Island beaches.
The city’s shoreline department is cleaning up at Clayton’s and Isla Grande twice a day.
Officials say the cleanup efforts will continue until all major activities during this spring break are over.
