McAllen Memorial's star soccer player Kennedy Kaiser signed her letter of intent to play Division I soccer with Oklahoma on Thursday afternoon.

"It definitely means so much to me, you know this is a moment that we've been looking forward to as a family and all my friends for a while," said Kaiser on her signing.

Kaiser's 148 career goals, the most in school history. She was awarded 31-5A Most Valuable Player two years in a row. Last season, she helped her team win the District Championship and has led the Lady Mustangs to three straight sweet sixteen appearances, alongside her father as the McAllen Memorial girls soccer head coach.

"Having my dad as my coach, it's been an amazing experience but I cannot wait for Oklahoma and I know he's going to be my biggest cheerleader", said Kaiser. "I'll always be her coach, she may not like that but I'm definitely going to love just being dad and enjoying her accomplishment," said head coach Matthew Kaiser.
