Dove Season to Begin 1 Week Early

WESLACO – The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department says dove-hunting season will begin one week early.

It will begin on Sept.14 and continue through Oct. 30, when the usual break takes place. It then starts again in December and ends on Jan. 21.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department welcomes the public's opinion on hunting. You can do so by calling 512-389-4800.
