Federal Law Enforcement Activity Reported on BISD Administration Building

BROWNSVILLE – Questions remain following federal law enforcement activity at a Brownsville Independent School District facility.
The district told CHANNEL 5 NEWS U.S. Marshals Service deputies conducted some sort of activity at a Brownsville ISD building on Monday.
We’re told the U.S. Marshals Service doesn’t need permission from the district to enter any of the district’s buildings or property.
A special board meeting with the majority of BISD administrative staff is underway to figure out why they are involved.
