Former FBI Agent Explains Observations of Migrant Caravan
WESLACO – A former FBI agent joined the migrant caravan last week.
Former FBI agent Art Fontes says most of the caravan participants are families but also observed some who had tattoos usually associated with gangs.
"In talking to some of the Mexican government people, I'm aware that, at least when I was there, the federal police were escorting these people from their destinations, their points of departure,” says Fontes.
He explains according to Mexican intelligence, cartels plan to take advantage of the situation.
