A newly activated Hidalgo County website will provide the latest information on weather conditions, emergency measures, and safety guidelines for weather-related activities, according to a news release.
The Weather Watch website is equipped with tools to make vital information readily available to everyone, the news release added.
"We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our residents," Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez said in a news release. "By activating the 'Weather Watch' page with enhanced accessibility features, we aim to provide crucial information to every member of our community, especially those who may face challenges during emergencies."
