Overnight Mission Meat Market Fire
MISSION – A fire broke out at the T-Rey Meat Market on Business 83 just before midnight.
Mission Fire Department was still on the scene early Monday morning on the 2500 block of Business 83.
Mission Deputy Chief Ricardo Balderas said they received the call right at midnight. The fire was blazing through the roof of the meat market when fire crews arrived.
The fire department was able to contain the fire to the building, but Balderas said it is a total loss.
There is no word on what caused the blaze.
Fire investigators will be on the scene throughout the day to access through the damage.
