Veterans Affairs to Assist Valley Family of Fallen Soldier
HARLINGEN – Private First Class Miguel Angel Villalon, a decorated combat engineer, went above and beyond the call of duty. He was killed by a roadside bomb Saturday in Afghanistan.
Commander of the 3rd Brigade Combat team, 82nd Airborne Division Col. Art Sellers said Villalon lived their motto “essayons” which means “let us try.”
The Veterans Affairs office is working with the family and causality assistance to honor the soldier who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
