Weslaco Family Still Cleaning Up after Recent Rain
WESLACO – Rio Grande Valley families continue rebuilding and recovering two weeks after flooding damaged their homes.
It’s a new daily routine for many at a Weslaco subdivision.
Lucy Morin says she and her family were rescued by sheriff’s deputies while floodwater filled her Las Brisas home. Now, she says she has to learn a new trade to get her life back to normal.
“What I’m doing now is taking off the sheetrock, taking all these down because it’s all wet,” she points out.
