6 People in Court Following Altercation on Election Day

PORT ISABEL – Six people were in court Wednesday for allegedly assaulting several people in Port Isabel on Election Day.

The Cameron County sheriff says an altercation broke out shortly after election results were announced May 5.

The suspects face several charges, including assault of a public servant and injury to a disabled individual.
